The verb is spelled annex everywhere. The noun is sometimes spelled annexe in British English.
Adviser is preferred throughout the English-speaking world, but advisor is fairly common and is not a misspelling. The words are interchangeable.

For a written bank order, check is the U.S. spelling; cheque is preferred everywhere else. Check is used everywhere for senses unrelated to banking.
